Experience the West on a Working Cattle Ranch!

The Palmer House is located on the historic Oxford Horse Ranch that was established in 1887. The old log house is remodeled in a Victorian style. Luxurious accommodations nestled outside of town on a 3,600 acre privately owned, working cattle ranch. Come enjoy the ranch life style viewing cattle, horses, and the 150 foot barn. This national registered historic landmark boasts a wonderful piece of Wyoming History. Bring your horse and sense of western adventure for an experience of a lifetime.

Come explore 3,600 acres of ranch land rich with wildlife and historical landmarks. I am also only an hour away from Centennial and Albany Wyoming where there is cross country and downhill skiing, snowmobiling, and snow shoeing in the winter, and four-wheeling, and hiking in the summer!

Full sized riding and roping outdoor arena and round pen available for guests and their horses plus the 3,600 acre ranch to ride freely on! Accommodations for horses are 6 corrals with automatic waterers and loafing sheds if available, or indoor stalls inside the historical barn.

Stay tuned for Equitation Clinics, Jackpots, and Gymkhanas!

Disclaimer: Ranch activities are inherently dangerous. A signed waiver is required, along with an agreement to Ranch Rules. No horse back riding for guests who do not bring their own horse. Outside dogs are not allowed on the ranch for their safety and for the safety of livestock.

Come relax at the fire-pit, there may be some ranch buddies who want to join!
